Who We Are


USAID supported Vriddhi is a technical partner to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India to scale up India’s RMNCH+A strategy. Vriddhi supports state governments of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Assam, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and also supported Delhi till 2018 to scale up RMNCH+A interventions.

The support provided by Vriddhi aims to bridge the gap between policy and implementation through training and capacity building of health service providers, evidence sharing for informed decision making and effective dissemination strategies. It also provides inputs to the state counterparts to prepare state specific implementation guidelines. Additionally, Vriddhi supports MoHFW through dedicated program management units for national programs LaQshya and Aspirational Districts. These units embedded within the Ministry provide implementation guidance, monitoring and support for the respective programs. Other systemic support includes strengthening First Referral Units (FRU), roll out of Family Planning Logistics Management Information Systems (FPLMIS), and Public Financial Management (PFM)
